Product Customer Reviews
At first glance RAS, to see over time.
Value for money, highly recommended
nothing to say, no friction, no smell, great
I was curious to try merino wool, and after yet another post-hike abrasion on the inside of my thighs I decided to give it a try. They are very comfortable, the wool breathes perfectly so much so that after hours of walking you take them off practically dry. They are not mandatory for a trek but they really change your life.
I bought quite a few clothes from you in merino, I am very happy with them so far, this is my first item The underwear is very comfortable to wear, very good wicking of perspiration and odor management , Disintegrates between the legs, all the merino goes away, only the polyamide remains, I have about fifteen of these underwear each time, after a few months it disintegrates,. I wear 7 pairs of underwear, so one every day, so basically one pair of underwear and use it 4 times a month. note that when the letters UI appear, the seams have not moved. 22 euros per underwear is not normal.
Every year I walk the paths of Santiago wearing several copies of these merino wool boxers. It's what I found best for walking, it dries quickly, doesn't smell and is of good quality.
I agree with other opinions to say that the elastic is really too tight (I have a thin waist though) even taking a size larger it quickly becomes very unpleasant. Boxers a tad too long too. Too bad because good quality.
Still too expensive, but I love it.
Used on bike trips or trekking lasting several months, I appreciate merino. Two areas for improvement, however: - a little too long at the thighs, makes you sweat and causes bunches when worn with tight pants. This should be shortened or offered in two formats. - elastic too tight at the waist (I took L for 42). This really hampers my comfort during exercise and for digestion on long outings.
Great boxers, great price.
ideal for its merino wool material
I tried them and later bought more. They suit me for hiking and everyday wear.
Excellent.
You don't even notice you're wearing it.
Practical and comfortable. Warm and breathable, perhaps a little expensive. But overall excellent.
Size Guide
Additional Product Information
Composition
Main fabric: 86.0% Wool, 4.0% Elastane, 10.0% Polyamide
Sizing and fit
These boxers have a fitted cut for enhanced moisture transfer to the outside of the fabric.
How have we enhanced the durability of our boxers made with merino wool?
We have used a BETA-SPUN yarn structure in which the polyamide threads coat the Merino wool fibres and protect them from rubbing and breaking without affecting their properties.
Tip before use
To make the component feel softer, don't hesitate to wash your boxers before first use.
How to wash your merino wool boxers
We recommend that you machine wash your Trek 500 Merino boxers at 30°C on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry flat and NEVER tumble dry unless you want it to shrink by one or two sizes! For more information: https://support.decathlon.co.uk/how-to-maintain-a-merino-wool-garment
Product testing
These boxers have been tested and validated in the field in real-life conditions. They were worn for 5 weeks in spring 2019 by several people who went trekking in the Canary Islands for 2 weeks, followed by 3 weeks on the GR10 route in the Pyrenees.
